Gasification of the Jahorina mountain completed

The Gasteh company successfully participated in the realization of a project worth 15 million convertible marks (KM), which completed the gasification of the Jahorina mountain. The opening of the distribution steel gas pipeline Pale-Jahorina represents a big step towards the modernization of the energy capacities of this area.

The project constructed a 27-kilometer gas network, which includes an 11-kilometer primary distribution pipeline and a 16-kilometer secondary network to serve the area’s consumers. This infrastructural undertaking enables the connection of Jahorina and Pale with a stable gas supply, which created the foundation for further development of tourism and improvement of living conditions on this popular mountain.

Realization of the project implies a significant step in energy efficiency and environmental sustainability, because gas as an energy source contributes to the reduction of pollution compared to other energy sources. This project not only benefits the local community but also the wider region, as it provides the basis for economic growth and development.
